Unoffical language is interesting. It can be interpreted many different ways because usually the language/sign is presented in a random way, in a random location, suprising the viewer. Unoffical signs and language leave the viewer more creative freedom to come up with their own meaning, because these signs are often viewed out of context. Graffetti is a really interesting form of this. Most people dismiss it as gang signs or degregation of property. But there are a lot of graffetti artisits out there that intend their art to have much more meaning than this. The viewer just needs to take the time to recognize this. The unoffical language of a graffeti artisit holds lots of meaning.
